Calibrating the Sensor Pen

Still have no idea WHAT the sensor pen does, but calibrating it is pretty easy. As with all things, you need to start with a setting screen. Screen 5 for calibrating the sensor pen.

I think there’s only one function left unexplored on screen 5

The Machine, of course, walks you through what you need to do. Couple of notes, the needle needs to be in the up position and the presser foot needs to be down. Down worry if you forget, the machine won’t let you proceed unless the needle is up and the presser foot down. The error message will even tell you specifically which needs to be where to proceed with calibration.

The Machine knows all….it tells all….

Simply follow the on screen instructions to complete calibration. Note though, those are not random points for calibration.

Touch points one and two in succession.

Touch the calibration pen to point 1 which is a green dot. When instructed, touch point 2. Calibration complete. What not to do: Do NOT drag the sensor pen, which you will see me do in the video, before reading the instructions which specifically say DO NOT DRAG SENSOR PEN.

Oh well, I didn’t break it…I think. Won’t really know until The Manual tells me to actually start using the Sensor Pen.
