Bobbin from Threading Pin
Now, you can wind a bobbin from the machine threading pin. Meaning, you don’t HAVE to move the thread to that upper spool pin. Leaving the thread on the threading pin, you have to partially un-thread the machine, leaving the thread just under the first hook of the threading path.
That 1 with a dashed line arrow pointing to the right becomes your thread path. From there, follow the rest of the bobbin looping as per usual.
Where those dashed lines come up from the left is the thread path. So hook the thread through point 2 right to left, around the tension disc and down to the bobbin. Push in the doohicky and press the start button. Presto! Another perfectly wound bobbin!
