Pulling Up the Bobbin Thread
Sometimes, you may be working on a project that requires the bobbin thread to be on top of the needle plate. To make this happen, when loading your bobbin, instead of pulling it all the way through arrow 3:
Where arrow 3 will cut the thread, you only want to thread the bobbin to about halfway through that curve:
Stop threading at the 3 mark here. Then turn the hand wheel on the right side of the machine to lower the needle. Turn it one full rotation and the upper thread will catch that bobbin thread and pull it up through the needle plate. Pull the bobbin thread to the back, replace the bobbin cover, and you’re ready to stitch!
