Well this was just about the coolest thing ever. I also felt pretty dumb for not having used it earlier. I have ALWAYS just threaded the needle myself. But now that I know how easy the automatic threader is to use, I will always use this in the future. Now, after threading the machine as usual, after step 6, you pull the thread up to the left, catch it on the metal hook and loop around point 7.
Next loop the thread around to the thread cutter in back. Pretty sure this cuts the thread at the exact right length for the automatic threader to work properly.
Next the magic happens. Press the automatic threader button on the front of the machine.
Press the automatic threader button and VOILA! The machine is threaded. Seriously…a little gizmo (ANOTHER technical term) drops down and does the work for you.
And that’s all it takes. WAY easier than trying to thread it yourself. Save your eyes…let The Machine do the work for you.
