Multi Function Foot Controller
For ultimate control over your sewing, use the foot controller. For REAL control, use the multi function foot pedals. Yep…PEDALS. Plural. It’s a bit like driving a stick shift. Assembly is pretty easy, using the included spacer bar and screws, turn both pedal over, and attach screw the wide end of the bar in to the main foot controller and the narrow end of the bar in to the side pedal.
Notice that when setting this up, the main foot controller is on the left and the side pedal is on the right. Also notice the cable from the side pedal which plugs in to the main foot controller. When you flip the assembly over, the main controller will be on the right and the side pedal on the left. Please note: This is wholly adjustable to your preference. If you’re left footed and use your left foot to control the main pedal, then set up the side controller on the right (when set up and ready to sew).
Once you have the pedals assembled, go in to setting screen 2 and pick your functions Note: The main foot controller has the toe press, which makes the machine sew, and a HEEL SWITCH, which can be programmed (heel and toe…just like a driving a stick shift…well, not JUST like, but very similar).
The main foot controller (toe press on the big pedal) can ONLY be used for start/stop of sewing. But both the heel switch and the side pedal can be programmed for the following functions: Thread cutting, Needle Position Up/Down, Single Stitch, and Reverse Stitch. Once you pick which functions you want programmed in, press ok, and you’re ready to drive stick.
