Needle Calibration

One thing I learned is that the white stickers that come with the machine, do in fact have a function. If I would have realized they weren’t just random stickers when I purchased the machine, I would not have lost them. Good news though! Any large white sticker will work…in this case, I used Avery mailing labels which I had on hand as a handy substitute.

Changing the Needle

Loosen the needle screw so that the existing needle drops down. Insert the new needle in the needle clamp with the flat towards the back of the machine. Make sure you push the needle all the way up to the needle stop. The Machine has a tiny little window that you can see when the needle is pushed all the way in to place.

Adjusting Amount of Fabric Feeding Dual Feed Foot

Here, we revisit the settings screen…screen 1 specifically. Press the settings screen button, make sure your on screen 1, and the bottom row of adjustments is for the Dual Feed Feed Adjustment. Most fabrics should run just fine under a 00 setting, which is the factory setting.
